Took care of a few loose ends over the weekend. This thing is getting real close to being drive-able. Main project for the weekend was brakes. Got the stainless lines installed, but can't seem to find everything for the master cylinder yet. I'm sure it's in one of these buckets somewhere. Decided not to run the t3 knuckles yet.

I ended up pulling the entire harness apart at one point. I got it put back nice and neat, but now I realize that I've got to tear it apart again so I can run the wires for an electric fan relay.

Here it is installed once I got it running. I think I'll end up painting the valve covers wrinkle black one day.

Good deal man. You were building the 3tc or something right? What did that go in? Do you have pics somewhere?

I managed to get my brake system setup. Need to bleed brakes and clutch. Pressure washed the rat terds out of my oem seats. Can't wait to replace those pieces of crap. Looks like my seat belts don't work. Buddy of mine said he has another set. If that doesn't work I'll mod in the ones I kept from my ae92. They're pretty clean and work perfect.

I snagged a free exhaust from a friend. Started working to get that hung. Got to do a cheap little mod to add a bracket, then I'll just slap some ubolts on it from autozone to patch it up for now. Temp exhaust system till I can get something better.

Started piecing together my front end, but looks like my turn signals have busted glass, and I'm missing the side pieces. It's not critical, but it will make me have to wait that much longer to get street legal. 8/6 day isn't that far off. If I wasn't so broke I might actually make it lol.

I hear ya man, so close but so far. Yeah the 3tc is from a AE70 series corolla going in my Ae86. Actually mine is the coup version of yours, same year and color I believe. Hey are those Goodridge brake lines? This reminds me I need to replace mines as well.

Yup, I've bought other brands in the past, and I won't do it again. Buy them from tirerack.com, they have great prices on the goodridge lines.

Yea any progress is better than no progress. What sucks is as soon as I went to bleed my rear drums the bleeder snapped. I looked at them a year or two ago and they looked fine, but they seem to have rusted up since then. So then I went to bleed my clutch and apparently the clutch master crapped out.

At least I figured out my idle issue. The plastic grommit that my injectors sit in was cracked and sucking in air. Once I get some more cash to throw at it I'll be back in business, but I'm broke as a joke right now. I did manage to buy tires for it though.
