I first got this on a rainy day in 09 for 600 for a rolling shell.

After bringing it home, I tried to give it a good cleaning.

Here's some pics of my backyard at the time. I took the engine from my old aw11. I had to get rid of it due to all the rust and other issues it had.

Then I picked up an origin kit from some guy who said he was leaving to serve in Korea for only $300 for the whole kit.

Some test fitment and paint

Picked up a transmission from a friend and mounted it to the engine

Pretty empty engine bay

And voila!

Put in the driveshaft (LOL zipties)

Then comes the interior, old stuff

Redid the dash in the meantime
Image
Put in my old aw11 seats
Image
Image
Side stuff, redid the tailight gaskets and LED'd my cluster

Got a broken trd wing and patch it up, and some cby flares and some diamond racing rims sometime in between then and now lol, sorry no progress pics. And here it is as it sits now:

It's been pretty slow since my car is at home and I'm currently in school in a different city about 8 hours away for college. So I've been trying to save up.
My plans once I get home are to upgrade to AGX's, some small things here and there. It drives, but I need to adjust the timing I think. We'll see how it goes from here
Oh yeah forgot to mention I got a supra rear at home waiting to be put it, picked up a mk2 supra lsd, probably gotta rebuild both lol

wow nice work do you know if the shell had a 20v in it before you got it? it looks like it might have since the fire wall looks modified to fit the distributor. you really turned that shell around. looking good. the gold block and valve covers is a nice touch too
