That bell housing is a cool piece. It even has the ribbing for reinforcement. There are other bell housings floating around but lack the reinforcement like the niteparts one. They tend to crack. Watch out for those y'all.

Looking forward to seeing more from this build. :tu:

Mckenney.... no im not i might put the engine together tomorrow.

Dr. Occa.... that is what i found from reviews. Supposively this bellhousing can take a beating according to Brendan thatowns niteparts. Someone is the D1 DROPPED it 3 meters....bent it.... they straighted it and still using it today. Coupke 500+ hp cars are running this housing for a while now. I could find the okd email and post what he tokd me.

ok if you've been following this you know I have a late ae92 4agze with DLI. My question for all of you is what else am i missing?! I need to find a MAP sensor.... but other than that I can't think of what else I need. Prolly doesn't help that I've never really played around with these engines before. here's the parts I have. All the numbers I have are all toyota part numbers by the way.

ECU (numbers 89661-12611)
Image

coils with spark plug wires (numbers on both 90919-02179)
Image

"sensor assy turbo pressure" I'm guessing this is the sensor that will let you know when the supercharger engages and if there is an overboost problem. (numbers 69420-12050)
Image

now these 2 sensors I believe are the resister packs for the fuel pump and the fuel injectors but I'm not 100%

(numbers 28515-16020)
Image

(numbers 23080-16010)
Image

I'll be taking a picture of the wiring harness I have to show the cut portion which kinda scares me... but I'll push through haha. SO if anyone know of any other sensors or something that I'm missing please chime in and let me know! I'm going to take a stab at this swap here very soon. I also have an belt driven pieces out in the garage.

Depending on what year the motor is from. Some you'll have to use a late mk3 one for a 1JZ...

i was thinking it was like an AFM as I've never actually seen a MAP sensor before... until I looked up a 2 bar GM map... then it looked JUST like the one I have.
