Just picked her up today. 1986 Toyota Corolla GTS 5speed. Found her in a field down in Stephenville TX, $600 and shes all mine. More pics and info to come later

i was wondering when someone was going to pick that car up. i had ideas to pick it up to part it out, but im glad that you got it. hopefully you'll turn it into a road worthy car.

Yea it wasnt on craigslist an hour when I found it and called the guy. Sunday I drove the two hours out there to look at and I knew I had to have it. Thankfully the guy was really cool and gave me first dibs on it and well picked it up yesterday lol. Tonight after work I am going to start cleaning it up and really see where I am at.

Well yesterday felt so amazing outside and being my day off, I spent it working the GTS. Pretty much prepping it to pull the motor and tranny. Drained all the fluids, took the exhaust off, drive shaft off, other misc things. Bought an engine stand to put the red top on to start cleaning her up, got to love Harbor Freights lol.

Later that night Mckenney and our other buddy came by and we pulled the diff and the axles to lend to him. Sat at XDC like right as we pull into TMS from 114 his pinion breaks and locks his rear diff, got the car back home thanks to our friend with a truck and a trailer. Seeing that his car is also his DD we got him rolling again.

While pulling the axles out, we found a BIG black widow. Well thanks to Mr dead blow she was no more. However we took no chances and I went to walmart and picked up 2 bug bombs. Set em off and shut the garage door for the night.

There is a RKC meet tonight so idk if i will have time to work on her tonight but sometime this week I am picking up a cherry picker from my buddy and I hope to have the motor out by this weekend.

P.S. I have my Dream garage :D
