Old toy: My Corolla(s)

well, i guess its time for my build thread...i know i know, youre all gonna say "its about time"...well maybe not all, just those that have said that i needed one in the past.
So, this is how it looked after i brought it home back in 2008 (i think)
First things i did were maintenance and stuff, but i wanted to make the interior more appealing to me so i decided to turn it from blue to black.
Painted the rear seats and various plastics with Duplicolor Vinyl/Plastic spray:
I also decided to replace the brakes with some cross drilled rotors, pads, and cheapy stainless steel brake lines from a c4ag vendor. id recommend to NOT GET the cheapy stainless lines, and go for some name brand goodridge lines.
I took a visit down to San Antonio to meet up with daveskatesallday, cause he was selling a pair of Sparco Reclineable seats. Traded him my GTS seats + some cash, and not i have some nice, comfortable seats. i think it was well worth the 5 hour drive!
soon after, i got some 15" XXR 513 0 offset rims and lowered the car on tokico blue struts and espelier active gt springs.
A couple of months later, the stock Bluetop started smoking alot, and it was harder to start in the mornings, so i did tons of research and decided to put a 20v Blacktop into the car. While my car was down, i bought and installed a 5zigen Border III exhaust and a illegal garage flex pipe cat delete. Using SamQ's water bypass kit and upper radiator neck, i was able to solve the water routing problem that 20v users face. with research from club4ag i decided to use COPS from a toyota echo (i think) and sent off the wiring harness to Dr. Tweak so he could make me a nice and pretty harness. While i was busy spending money, i bought a 20v RWD OBX header from Ebay and T3 BT trumpets and Uni filters to protect stuff from flying in.
I ran this setup for a while, but soon after CCM5, my engine started knocking and i decided to buy a cheap 20v BT shortblock from Ebay, so the car wouldnt be down very long. with the help of the 86 garage community, MadeInThe80's, HondaRue, among others, we were able to the whole swap in 1 day. It was during this time that i decided to get myself an NST crank pulley and slap that on the car as well.
For the big NST event in Jan 2010, HondaRue gave me a prototype of his BBK using FC calipers and Mini Cooper S rotors that worked flawlessly!

Fast forward a couple more months, and i put a JDM rear bumper on the car.
And while i was doing that, to my dismay, i realized how much rust my car had...i had to make a decision. i could either fix it, or i could find another shell and swap EVERYTHING over....
