Sadly, I saw more cons than pro's when i switched to a smallport intake. I was hoping for more torque/power, but that didn't really happen. Maybe I have a vacuum leak and don't know?
I liked how peppy the bigport intake + t3 adaptor was. It seemed to have more power and torque than it does now with the smallport intake. I'm considering switching it back...
Like Jonas said, it might be the bernoulli/venturi effect that took place when i had the bigport manifold with the t3 adaptor. My understanding of that is, it might have created a stronger flow of air into the head.
I would say, that it's also cheaper just to buy the T3 adaptor plate and throw it onto the bigport than to buy a RWD converted smallport head.
