DIY: Quick-N-EZ Compact Evap Canister

Have a step-by-step guide you'd like to share with everyone or are looking for one in particular? Well, this sandbox is just for you then.

This is a kitty-free sand box by the way.

DIY: Quick-N-EZ Compact Evap Canister

Post by dr.occa »

I just made use of the Quick-N-EZ Oil Catch design.

2" PVC Components from your local hardware store:
1. Threaded Cap
2. Threaded Flush Cap
3. Threaded Coupler
4. Pipe section cut to desired length
5. Vacuum Check Valve

Pick up Activated Carbon Pellets or Filter Packs from a local Aquarium Supply store and place them in the (4)Pipe section of your canister.
Create perforations in the (2)Threaded Flush Caps. Assemble the (3)Threaded Couplers to the (4)Pipe section prepping with PVC primer then affixing with PVC cement. The rest should be self explanatory.
