tachometer isn't working

Post by FerNasty »

Hey everyone!

Here recently I've moved from a stock ecu on a blacktop and got the Haltech. However, now my tach isn't working and id love to get it running. I really don't want to go back to the shop that i went to, not because they did a bad job, but because they are wanting to charge me around 600-900 to diagnose it and rewire it.

Can anyone point me to the right direction to where to start? and i say this because idk if i need to take out the gauge cluster and go from there? or is this something that can mainly be working from the engine bay.

I just want to say thanks in advance for any help or tips!

@FerNasty
Factory or aftermarket tach? Was tach working prior to Haltech or working both prior and after Haltech and now stopped working?
