First up to bat, this connection. The other end is connected to the positive battery hook up, and it looks like it would connect to the starter. But it doesn't. I dont even remmember unbolting this when I took the car apart. Furthermore, according the haynes manaul, The alternator doesn't take this kind of hookup. Where does this go?
While we are on a roll, This is the second confusing. On the alternator, it has two connections, yet this one(the one I am holding, has me at a a loss.
To me, it looks like this is where the above mentioned wire should connect to, but it is muhc to big. To make matters worse, there is what is left of the connection still on the alternator. So, what is the connector that is on the alternator, and where does that go? The ride wire is broken off, and is just there. Also note that the alternator has the yellow wires connecting to it from the positive battery hook up, so where does that leave the other wire I found?
