Post by yashiro86 »

So I need to replace the A/C face because the toggle/stems/whatever (the thing to make it hot or cold) and to change the position that the air blows out. The problem is I dont know how to remove it!!! Anyone know how???

1st pic I what I need to take off
2nd pic is where there are screws I need to take out
3rd pic is another screw I see and it looks like i need to take it off as well

Anyone know where else there are screws hiding?? If so can you post pics?!?!?
Thanks!

there are 2 more screws exactly opposite on the driver side of the AC surround on pic 2.

you have to take all of the plastic off under the steering wheel (pic 3 shows 1 screw out of many holding it in) in order to get to the other screws.

if i remember correctly, you MIGHT have to take the gauge cluster surround off (or just move it slightly) in order to get to the upper bolt of the AC surround.

don't remember if you have to take out the radio surround either, but it might be a good idea to, just in case.

Cuz there's a kouki panel on 4age for $75...but if I can try to fiddle until I fix it ill save me $75!!!

yea, as long as all of the cables are still hooked up, you should be able to fiddle with them
