My son's AE86 was so cheap because the previous owner got disgusted once someone backed into it with a trailer. The damage was not severe (see pics).

My dilemma is that I want to pull the dent, but I am afraid that the rear window is going to crack. Therefore, I think it might be prudent to remove the rear window first. Before I can do that, how do I remove the trim around the rear window? It appears to be snugly on there. I am afraid about damaging it because I don't know whether it is easily replaceable.

Thoughts?

I would think you can reuse it, maybe just have to add some glue?

I just want some confirmation from someone before I make a regrettable mistake.

They pop out very easy. With another person on the inside start pushing the seal out to to outside. The person on the outside can stick some thin flat objects between the seal and body till you have enuff to stick a flat screw driver in and work your way around. If it shatters I have one in back you can get.

A friend of mine who has an auto glass replacement/repair business here in town offered to pull all the glass on the car and store it for us until we clean up the body, add some other body bits and pieces, and spray it with some fresh paint.
