question about the tranny its the coupling

Post by 87inaustin »

the coupling that goes from the output shaft on the gear box to the front section on the drive shaft ! the coupling keeps popping off and making a damn noise like a cow bell at lower speeds than 20i just push it back on with my hand and it stays on till i do a burn out or take off fast /\ i want to know what type of sealant or gasket maker y'all have used or that is recommend or if i am missing a gasket ????

Its just held on with pressure...you could prolly put a dab of JB weld on it to hold it or snag one off aother transmission and press it on.

If you JB weld put it where you can remove later if need be.
