Looking for an 86 hauler but thinking outside the box. Something cool that can be slammed... or lifted.

...please don't say forester.

Mini van great on gas can tow and fit stuff inside locked up
I use a dodge caravan that has the 2.4 4 banger in it and it works great now what I would love to get next is a 16v 1.6 twin cam powerd previa they come rear wheel drive and are much bigger and can be tuned for being Eco got a freind who loads it down with all his lock smith stuff and that's a good tone in wait he pulls and he had to get springs from a f350 cut to size to in prove the suspension on the rear

Plus I do auto cross and would like to race the van for fun as well and type in mini van drift and they have been built to race and or drift

I've this dilemma for about a year n half!!! Thought of the same things you had. A wagon with a 1uz,Cressida wagon with 1 or 2jz, and vans with superchargers n stuff. The bad thing about all of that........... Parts for it, when they do break or just give up. That's why trucks "I think" it would be the reliable choice. But that's just me man. I've been looking for a towing car/van/truck so I could try to run the lone star drift series and than may b XDC. good luck with your decision!

Right now I'm looking at a 86 chevy c10 white/yellow two tone long bed. 60k original miles for 2g's.

Slammed on moonies with white walls and a bagged rear end to adjust for load or gas adjust shocks. The rest stock.

I was also looking @ big body Lexus' but I'm worried about ripping the car apart over time.

Lol. A bagged dually would be nice or SWB. I think one of the biggest things is how nice it is to drive 2.5 hrs back after a drift event in June in a car with a ballin A/C and heat in the winter. Rarely do drift days ever turn out with gloomy skies and 70*.

Anybody on here ever haul with a Japanese car? Like an Infiniti or Lexus.

This is what I want. Granted it's Nissan, but the one pictured is a 2007 Nissan UD "rollback". It's low and wouldn't take much to get a lowered car on there... first time I seen one [really] <--- that was my face when I saw the 80-90,000 dollar price tag for a new one.... I want something smaller like that, but I want a rollback damn it!
