It brought back fond childhood memories for me seeing giant robots/mechs (Daiku Maryu Gai King, Getter Robo, Grandizer, Mazinger Z, Daimos, etc...) and giant monsters (Gamera, Godzilla, Mecha Godzilla, Monster X, Mothra, etc...) dookin' it out! Now that's a movie that should be experienced on the big movie screen. In fact, the Movie Tavern screen wasn't big enough for me! I plan on seeing it again but on the IMAX Digital 3D screen. My kids loved it too! It made me a happy dad.
I still love my giant robo & monster movies. If you haven't seen it or considered seeing it - SEE IT!!!
Guillermo Del Toro did a great job on this btw.
