The numbers listed were BASELINE numbers for a "before" comparison.

98 max whp came at roughly 6600 rpm.
89 max wtq came at roughly 5300 rpm.

We are doing Tri-Flow testing today, lunch break as I type this, and will have more info for you later in the evening.

there is cheap enough headers on ebay that work just fine NST would loose money if they did make headers. As for 20v, just use 16v headers and modify the holes on the flange they just need to be ovalized if that makes any sense...

They were tested on Laws 86: stock blue top engine, stock exhaust mani. Only aftermaket parts on his car is a custom exhaust & HKS mushroom filter.

The results on the Tri-flow cam... well I'll just let Mike post the dyno sheets

I think I saw an 86 look like Laws's car yesterday ( Tuesday) on Fondren & Harvin. Was it him ? white 86 with primer door.

Yes, my car is being used as the test bed. For anyone curious on the stats of my car:

-roughly 220k miles on motor

Intake pipe
HKS mushroom filter
2.25" exhaust straight back. No muffler.
'straight' catalytic converter
TRD plug wires

Considering the US 4AG in the Corolla was rated at 105hp/101tq, the baseline numbers of my motor were a pretty good starting point for a 22 year old motor with 225k miles. How does it drive with the cams? I don't know. Haven't seen my car yet but Mike seems to like how it runs as he does not want to give me my car back yet

It basically has 2 different grinds per cylinder on the same cam.

I just got back from meeting up with Law & Mike. Also saw the the dyno sheets and they really are impressive! Car sounds totally different as well!

Like I said earlier I'll wait for Mike to post the dyno sheets but I will say is that Im buying a pair FOR SURE

!!!

Do you work/live/play in the area?

If so, then it was me you saw driving the car. I've done A LOT of before and after driving with this car to get a really good idea of how the engine will respond to, and behave with, the new cams.

Law's engine was actually really healthy for a 225K, 22yr old, engine and it put down some really good baselines. We did a total of 6 baseline dynos, and 12 more dynos to do cam testing. I spent a total of about 12 hours at Carboy, with much of that spent on the dyno!!!

I will post some very detailed dyno sheets, data, driving impressions, etc for you all within the next day or two.

Come to the NST meet, Friday AUG 22, to see the car in person.
I will fire it up and make all the dyno charts and data available to everyone in person. These cams ROCK!!!

I'll also wait for Mike to post up the numbers and the chart but I'll say that the graph and overall results are really impressive.

I didn't get a chance to really make the car scream because there were nothing but small roads around, traffic, pedestrians, etc (and I'm keeping the car at the shop for the time being) but on the quick little bursts, response and pick-up was noticeably faster. I found myself shifting out of 1st and 2nd a lot faster. That's about as high as I got because of the traffic and small streets in the area.

Car DEFINITELY sounds sick. GAWD.

Car is also still VERY streetable. Idles at 1000RPM just fine and growls. Anyone who knows me knows that I like my car to be streetable and it is pretty complete as far as road use goes. I still have AC, powersteering, all the GTS amenities.

Can't wait to use the extra 'umph' it now has in darting out of turns and going sideways. These will definitely make up for the power drop at certain RPMs and the much needed torque on these motors.
