the traction brackets should help you be "faster" in drifting by again, re-establishing chassis weight back onto your rear wheels even with your 2 digit hp (possibly even low 3 digits). your rear tires will be given an opportunity to grip more of the surface than just "moonwalk" on it. also with that added grip is the increased possibility of an easier time of adjusting angle via throttle in the midst of drifting.

this is all in conjunction with the type of tires and tread. with the "positives" there are also negatives but i'll just point out 1 or 2 of the drawbacks in that, with more resistance to combat means a little more work for your engine. it may also introduce more oversteer than what you are accustomed to. but, if you work through the negatives and exploit the positives, you'll be a better driver for it.
