Ok brain fart I guess. What I was saying is you can get a shorter bung/ oil filter bolt off and sr5 then you can get rid of the oem sandwich plate and gain an inch of clearance. Also that bolt you just posted Jonas is right there in one of his pics. I'm hella lost I guess lol. I see pics that make no sense to me lol like a remote bypass adapter plate on an aftermarket sandwich plate.

Edit: Union 15600A and the Mocal kit and it will all bolt up just fine and you can keep you filter on your block or use a bypass plate and make the filter remote.

I've tried using the 15600A union to connect my Earl Bypass plate to the block, I only get about 1-2 threads. So the union is about 1/2 an inch too short.

Then I tried using the 15600A union to fit the Mocal Plate directly on the block and that worked. I'm either going to run it that way or source a shorter stock sandwich plate, like Migs described:
