So I was so happy for about a
Month and waiting for 2 and 1/2 years to get my silvertop running in my 86..started replacing parts like trans mount and other small things .. Now my oil pump went out and car is Knocking .. ahhhh!!!( You know u drive a 86 when)..huh.... Anyways what should I do guys I have blacktop Ecu running my silvertop.. Map ,stock itbs So if I picked up a blacktop will I be able to just hook it up?.. I mean I found one online for about 700.. And yes this dose suck...!!!

how do you know it's the oil pump making the sound?

Your harness should work fine on a Blacktop.

Well I'm not saying that it is the oil pump making the knock. it's knocking at the head but it has a compression of 120 in cyl 1.. 2 has 45.. 3 has 120... 4 has 80.. So I know it's coming from the head.. I took the oil sensor off and turned the motor and no pressure.. At all so that's how I know that the oil pump is not sending any oil .. I have yet to take the head off and see what really is knocking..
