20v warm sluggish

Post by BKH808 »

Having a problem I can't figure out on my 20v BT. This is a DLI harness made by MR220v, using 1NZ coil packs. When it is cold start up is fine idling at around 1200 but when it reaches normal temp it starts to bog and slowly dies.

Is there a sensor that switches on when the motor is warm? My timing is set to 14 degrees. O2 sensor from a MR2 turbo, breather on the end of my ISCV. Dont know if the CEL light funtioning because it doesnt go off nor does the charge light on the start position.

How long have you had the 20v up and running?

He said his CEL may not work. BKH, jumper the service connector and then see if the CEL comes on.

Have you made sure the TPS is adjusted properly?

Check that your knock sensor is hooked up.

Make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks over-looked.
