didn't even think to post this 'til now.

if your blacktop tensioner has gone the way of the dodo your next best option would be as follows:

- silvertop timing belt (111 teeth) - (blacktop timing belt has 110 teeth)
- '91 ae92 GTS oil pump (same oil pump internal parts as the 20v oil pumps - look up the part numbers if you doubt)
- tensioner and spring

So the tensioner and spring is from a AE92 GTS too?

the tensioner and spring will be the same across all 16v 4age motors.

passracing has 20v tensioners for 70 bucks....

I can confirm this, you need to swap the oil pump and the tension then you can use the silvertop belt which ironicly is the same as a Lada Samara. I have the info here if it helps anyone:
