Recommend a rebuild shop Houston

Post by jonronno »

Like the title says, I am looking for somewhere to rebuild my motor in the houston area. I live in the Humble area so if there is any shops up this way those are fine also.

Are you doing a factory rebuild and installing the motor in yourself? What exactly are your plans?

yes, I have already pulled the motor and have it ready to take somewhere. I just want to do a factory rebuild nothing fancy, if i remember correctly the motor had a problem with #4 cylinder.

I had all my machine work done here. Took about a week to get it back, but they seem like a good shop. Friends of mine have used them, and they seem to have a good reputation.

I heard good things about Westside Performance. They recently machined and balanced my crank and clutch assembly. I did not know they rebuild engines also, cool. I've had poor experience with Motorhead in Stafford BTW so I wont recommend them at all.

I rebuilt my own, but when I was up there, he asked if they were building the motor, so I assumed they do.
