From tracing the e21 on the schematic it goes straight to the AFM, which in turn goes straight to the COR and it's not present at all on my harness plug. I'm almost positive this is the issue. Just going to wait for it to cool down some. It's too damn hot outside right now.

If for some reason that doesn't work, we are going to start checking other things. I have a feeling it's going to start tonight though.

e2 should just go to ground on your intake manifold. There should be a bundle of brown wires bolted to the intake mani.

e21 should be another brown wire that T's into the brown AFM wire that is a single wire connector that goes to ground on the exhaust side of the engine. It should be bundled with several other wires near the distributor. It goes to ground.

e21 is not hard wired to the COR. If anything, it'll be bridged via the AFM connection when the AFM is properly energized. Don't hard wired e21 to a COR wire. It should only be from ECU>AFM pin no. 1 (br) & to engine ground.

We are now getting spark, fuel pump is kicking on when it's supposed to and the MAF on the intake is clicking when the key is turned to on. Still not getting any clicking from the COR. Fixing to post in the WTB section for one.

Would a bad COR make only the Check engine light come on and none of the other dash lights?

Check that your cold start injector is wired properly too and working.

anyone have the part numbers or know where to get the the crush washers for the entire fuel system?

both ends to the cold start injector crush washers(4x)
Fuel filter and fuel rail crush washers(2x for each end)

after 3 months I'm going to attempt screwing with this car some more. I can't seem to get a proper answer on how to align the distributor for TDC as I believe this is the problem. Do I just line up the 2 screw holes on the gear itself and the housing?

well distributor timing was off. Got it lined up properly and it's still not starting. I have no clue what is wrong with this thing. Anyone care to come by sometime and help me troubleshoot?

fuel pump is coming on, getting spark, injectors are getting pulse, COR is working, timing is dead on and distributor timing is dead on from what I can tell by me eyeballing it by taking the cap off and lining it up with the #1 plug location. It turns over and the tach needle jumps but it will not start.

put the timing back at top dead center and look at your cam gears i bet the dowels are both pointing the same way...Ive seen this happen a few times.

I think the COR is fine, everything else is getting correct voltages.
