In a country like Luxembourg you have to learn languages. The whole country has 600'000 citizens and it's own language. Thats all! Our neighbours are France/Belgium/Germany so you have to learn their language (french and german). And english is a must worldwide isn't it? It isn't about smartness, it's a necessity
Enough OT

For the floating pins, is it possible to just get a press fit conrod reworked to make it accept a flaoting wristpin?

i put 119 to the wheels w/ the 1620 running a pair of colt cam 261° cams at 8.1 lift, nst pulleys, megajolt programmable ignition, mikuni dual side draught carbs, yada yada yada...you should be able to see more details on it somewhere around here.
I ran my engine on dyno, without fully tune(cant afford), only manage to get about 130hp on flywheel but on the wheel myb -20% of it, n torque to about 115 fFtLb..
Now planning to carb the engine, since tuning is affordable..

yes you can, i bought the 18mm wristpin con rods and had wiseco make the pistons floating by increasing the wristpin bore in the piston.

a thicker headgasket is a bad idea. Which version of the 4age is the bluetop?

You can get good compression with a thinner head gasket and a shaved head with the stock pistons

the 3 rib bigports that came in the ae86's are commonly refered to as bluetops here in the states.

oh ok, well there are stock pistons that are around 10.3:1 available for a bigport. This with a thinner gasket and a slight head shave and it's at a nice 11:1. This way you don't have the issues of a high dome like with the aftermarket pistons.
