GT5 and forza are ok. Heres the real deal:

Ive played every gran turismo, forza, and a bunch of need for speeds. Theyre fun, and I will continue to buy them. But in the end, when I want the real car feel, there is no substitute for Live for Speed. You cant play this game without a steering wheel.

wow!!! that looks awesome! is that a live clutch!?!?!?!

i really wish gt would jump on board with the live clutch.

is this a pc only game?

yeah, i've been eye balling that steering wheel setup for a while.

live for speed is cool. i use to play it with the cool D1 custom livery. yoshioka's white and pink graphic-ed 86 and the yellow 86 (forgot who's that was), the top secret 350z mizumi drove, taniguchi's S15.

live for speed must be a good deal better these days.

i'll have to download and install it again and check it out AGAIN.

Whats a live clutch?

I know you can modulate the clutch like in a real car. And yes, it is a PC game, but you dont need a really AWESOME pc to play it, it just needs to be a decent pc with a video card and youll do fine.

The game is pretty old. It has gone through several iterations. The newest iteration has just been released either last year or this year and the newest patch is pretty new.

It helps alot if you get a steering wheel with Force Feedback. There are some people that are really awesome with the mouse, but whats the fun in that? =P
