I'll add the weight of the engine for my next project-its 145 lbs with oil AND 6 speed sequential trans. Its a yamaha R1 bike engine,160 hp and 11,800 redline stock......should be fun in a 900lb car.

All those car based engines are just too damn heavy. :D

1mz 400 pounds engine only. can bolt up to what ever a 3sgte will. 3mz has a plastic manifold further reducing weight. could be a cool engine in an ae, cheap alternative. makes good power.

about the same, but, adaptors cost more. plus, as far as force induction/ nitrous goes, to my understanding 1uz internals are weaker.

the car now weighs 2415 with full interior, audio and a half tank of gas....when i corner balance it ill move some weight around but the cross weights are nearly perfect and the front to rear weights are really close to what it was before the swap....i gained 244lbs but a good chunk of that was from the heavier wheel tire combo

this is from a guy that swaped a 1uz in his car. posted on club4ag. i think the numbers are a little off on this thread.

also, i read that an f20 with trans no a/c compressor and no header no water no oil was 400lbs
