oil squirters? small port head or big port? I've seen 88 mr2s with a 7 rib block, no squirters, big port head with tvis. some of them have 18mm/40mm rods and a few that were 20mm/42mm configuration. these were a weird cross over time for the 4age. verify which one you have. all red tops were small port btw.

I'm about 85% sure it is the non-oil squirter on bottom of the piston-type but I'm going off of billzillas Australian website. So it could have oil squirters.. It is a factory red- top though that I am sure of (not just red valve covers on a blue top head. It's good to go. Come and get it. It's in the. 75080 on an engine stand. I have pics but even compressed they are too large to upload here. (4mb). Call me for the address. A little worried about posting my address on the internet. Mahalo

it is a late 87 88 model motor from an aw11 mr2, 7 rib no squirters, big port, red top mr2 valve covers, dunno if it is one of the 42mm journal motors but it's super clean fresh rebuilt. Rudy lives less than a mile from me lol. never knew! nice meeting you and glws.
