FS: GTS Zenki Rear Open Diff Center Section and Axles

Post by GTSRolla34 »

Just like the title says. I have a set of open diff Zenki axles and the center section for the diff from the same rear end. I would recommend changing out the bearings. The rear end was whining, but I think one of the wheel bearings or carrier bearings were bad. The R&P seem to be in good shape. The axle that was on the passanger side is only 4 years old. I bought a new one from toyota right after I bought the car back in 2004/2005. I also put a new wheel bearing on that side, but it could have gone bad. I'm not sure. I'll post some photos up tonight. I'm at work right now but I wanted to post this up.

I'm asking $120 O.B.O. for the axles and $60 for the pumpkin, R&P (whole center section). Just get in touch with me. I'll have pictures up tonight.

Pics of the axles and diff...I know the diff pics aren't the best. I was battling waning light in the garage. I'll try again tomorrow if I can get some sunlight...but it may rain tomorrow so we'll see.

The axle on the left is the new of the two that was bought in 2004/2005 from Toyota and had a new wheel bearing installed at the same time.

I just took some quick measurements. The newer axle is roughly 7mm smaller than the (from what I know) original axle that was on the driver-side. I'm assuming this means that I have 1 zenki lsd axle and 1 zenki open diff axle. I know I had them installed on my open diff vehicle for almost 4.5-5 years.

I'll take some more accurate measurements tomorrow. From what I measured tonight, I was getting just above 7mm difference between the two (around 5-7/16" difference). So it looks like Cavender Toyota may have gotten the order wrong, even with the vin. Doesn't surprise me.

If this is truly the case:

$60 for the open diff axle
$80 for the LSD axle

I'll take some measurements after work tomorrow to verify.

Okay, just let me know. You still have my number? I'm at work until 5PM every day and I get home around 5:30-6PM. Free on the weekends still. You're more than welcome to stop by and take a look at it.
