has any one seen this new thing with the VW and honda crowd? check it out some look not too bad on the VW's but what do i know rusty hood fad

Well I never saw this and this is new but around here its a bunch of civics with bike racks on the roof of the car. thats about it/

it's called patina(sp?)

likewise, i've seen it on old vw. but on civics and new cars. its kind of retarded. but hey does that mean my rusted fadded flaking paint is cool and "in" now?

rat rod rock, but new civic and vw looks retarded its like the only reason the bumper nots cuz its plastic but im sure someone going to do a rusty style paint i and it looks thats that going to be the new chameleon paint job

you know what pecx, that bug is bodacious to me. that moss candy green looks great WITH the rust and the chrome bumpers with yakuza camber.

but i'm not sur if it's really good air brushing or what because the rust is even clear coated. won't the rust eventually rot through even the clear coat? i not know. we need an experienced body man; erick? Rick (a.k.a. H8S)?

i've forgotten how much i like the old bugs when they're slammed.

Ive seen some good airbrushed rust paint jobs but this one is too good.
rust can be clear coated and eventually eat thru the clearcoat, but that might take anywhere from months to years.
the beauty behind it is that all you got to do to fix that is scuff it and clearcoat it again:)

maybe we as 86 owners can make our corollas trendy since most of them already have rust on them anyways...lol prolly not tho :roll:

i hate the black hood on my car. want to buy a cf hood but funds are low at the moment. i am seriously thinking of doing this to my hood, what do you guys think?
