i don't know if hearing what you want is really a truthful answer to real needs/goals. if you want 20v then just go 20v. all the D1 guys who are running 4AG's are 16v either N/A or force induction. if there are any 20v pro drivers, they're few and far between. the attraction is just surface and to k...

....Its just like someone told me "you don't need a welded diff to drift, if you do than it just means you don't know how to drift the right way". who ever said that obviously has a different definition of drifting. is this coming from a professional driver who has competed either in D1 or FD or bo...

Sorry I came off sounding so angry  I just get a little bitchy when I read about doing this and that to your car to go drift. I've herd from now more than 10 people that say they can't go to an event because their car isn't ready with mods, I was one of them! I would just like to see futur...

no need to apologize alex. as long as i'm satisfied with mine, that's okay by me. the car isn't intended to win a poplularity contest. if it does, just an added bonus.Overdrift wrote:yeah if it wasn't for winky... this car would be my favorite houston ae86.

I'm against welded diffrentials. Expecially if its a car you drive on the street. Your heating up metals that are heat treated for strength, it just doesn't seem logical to me. If you can drift with a open drift than your not ready for a welded. If you can drift with a open than you should look int...

i think most people on this board who post often have been to an event.... why are your posts always so angry? I think alex might still be holding it against me that i supposedly didn't help him with something on his car. julio (former 86 owner) was able to making him a better man than me. i don't ...

you might want to alter the poll answers to 16v itb / 20v itb rather than the yes / no choices. :? people like the 20v st/bt (bt has slightly larger itbs) and people who have had a 20v preferred the 16v for better torque response. personally, for the amount of hp gains, it's porrly spent money. the ...
