yeah neither do I, hehehe
It would suggest that the Felpro is thinner then by 0.2mm.The compression is getting pretty high so I suggest the OEM gasket.

Re: 7AGE
thats pretty neat however a compressed head gasket is around 1.2mm and also the answer relies upon measurments from club4ag, which is a great source of completely wrong info at many times. Also the 9.4:1 pistons have a 18mm press fit gudgen pin which you can't use as the 7afe engine has a 20mm press...

Re: Alternative Ignition: COPs - batch fire
so right now you do have an igf singnal from one of the coils and it still doesn't fire?
I am unsure what happens when an ignitor doesn't have a coil to fire, it may not send an IGF signal at all.

Re: Alternative Ignition: COPs - batch fire
you don't need a fifth coil to run this set up. Get rid of it and use the IGF off one of the coilpacks.

Re: blacktop itbs on silvertop motor?
yeah unfortunetly I can't do it for quite a while due to the state of my workshop. It has been my plan for a while to make a breif video version of my cooling guide as well. Anyway enough of me being off topic in this thread.

Re: blacktop itbs on silvertop motor?
but the only thing thats lighter is the rods and that limits your revs. The rod bolts are the weakness is the silvertop but it gives you atleast an extra 500RPM
also what does IIRC mean?

Re: blacktop itbs on silvertop motor?
no it isn't unless you dont m=need the map ports anymore and block them off. Also you would need to port match the head. Also there is no point swapping this over unless you have a very serious engine
