I recall hearing about this.

Re: the tow rig

I thought about both of those ideas but i want it to be sealed air tight when closed and able to change the fuel pump in a hurry if it goes out on the road I would probably go with adding a lip all the way around the plate, adding a little sealant to it to keep it air tight, and securing it in plac...

Re: the tow rig

I kind of figured something like that. I would be more inclined to just weld tabs to the existing plate cut-out and just set it back in place fastening it with some screws. Of course, I know people who probably would have thrown a welding blanket over the tank and welded that plate back on.

I am curious as to how you are going to patch back that hole. No welding allowed there. LOL

Re: What's the ultimate tow vehicle?

I have mulled getting a tow vehicle myself for some time and been giving this some thought myself. There are probably a few things that you should address before making a decision on a suitable rig: - Are you wanting it as a daily driver as well? - Will you need sleeping space for overnighting? - Ho...

Re: New from Tulsa, OK

The body appears to be in remarkably good condition. That front end looks mint. Why would you want to change it? Has the car been repainted? I only ask since there are no "GT-S" decals on either side. How does the interior look?

Re: Feeler: Spring AE86 meet?

If I get the 86 done by then I could be down. My problem could be between my two boys and their sports (baseball and golf).
