lol I had this exact same problem on my gts. I went through about 4 alternators (two of them completely seized), 3 belts, and about 300 bucks before I checked out my wiring and just wrapped up the exposed wire. I was getting an unwanted ground (acts like a short but it's actually grounding out on so...

I plan on doing the swap some time next year. The only problem is I'm kind of far (Louisiana). I'd be the test mule no prob. I could probably learn a thing or two hanging around the shop as well  lol

You guy's should make headers for the 16v and 20v(for the ae86). Headers for the 20v that fit on the ae86 chassis are kind of difficult to find and pricey.

Dude I remember you from club4ag in like 03 or 04.. maybe 05. I was still super noob didnt even have my corolla yet and you were the same age as me (maybe a little bit older) so I was like damn that guy is cool. Glad to see your still around, sad to see you're getting rid of the corolla again. lol I...

Yeah I think the f20c swap is pretty much the best swap for the ae86. I'd prefer to keep the 4age (16v or 20v) but f20's are pure sex to me. John and plenty of other people in the U.S. and all over the world have done it and I havent heard of any complaints. Shit in the long run it's probably even c...

If you absolutely have to do a swap I think an F20C might be more in your interest. Not a retarded amount of power if you dont want it, still handles like a corolla, parts for the swap are easily available, it can rev to 9k rpm stock, it's just an all around good choice for a swap in an ae86. The on...

If you want to have fun with your ae86 stick with the 4ag. I've had friends that took over a year to do the ka swap. As soon as they got it running and drove around the block they put the 4age back in. KA's are beastly. LS1 weighs 100lbs less than a ka and thats a f-bombing American V8. And SR86's t...

lol This dude is an F1 driver... he isnt that noob. F1 cars are relatively loose in comparison to your average daily driven car. Also I assume there would be warm up and practice laps. It wouldnt be very realistic to just throw any driver in any car and expect them to do well..... unless it was thei...

I ran 195/60/14 all around w/35psi front and 40-45 psi rear. With a stock bluetop and horrible susp it was alright. Once I redo my susp I want to try out some 185/55/14's on my rewinds and 195/45/15's on my 8jj sport maxes. With shitty susp trying to find out good pressure is useless imo.... I'll pr...

He's crashed plenty of times. I have an option video where he crashes someone elses s15 into a wall while demonstrating the course layout at an Ikaten event. He's a hell of a better driver than me, but even the best of drivers make mistakes because drivers are still human. EDIT: This isnt the vid I ...
