Re: 20V RWD cooling kit

thanks DjSpecter, I know I can sell them for much more but for now I don't. I like selling something that works and is affordable. You see I loath seeing external water pipes on 20V RWD conversions.

Re: 7AGE

well I think that was is theoreticly good however I use the original specs as a basis to work it out. Also the original chamber volume is 39cc or near to it before being modified.

Either way the result doesn't seem close to being right at all.

Re: 7AGE

I worked out 8:1 pistons with a 7a bottom and a 0.8mm gasket works out to 9:1

and 10.1:1 for 8.9:1 pistons

allowing for a 0.4mm shave its 10.5:1, but as I said before they are not light pistons. If you decide to go that way I say shave the head more

how did you work it out?

Re: 7AGE

I better clarify that chart, because the 7A section is with a standard 4A 1.2mm gasket. The ZE pistons are a bit on the heavy side and the compression would be too low unless you have boost.

RWD compatiable clutch lines

People using a bellhousing with the clutch slave held on the same side as the exhaust on the 4age or similar engine have found that the original rubber clutch line directly fouls against the exhaust pipes off the headers/extractors. The simplest solution for this is a custom clutch line. http://i127...

20V RWD cooling kit

This is my long running cooling kit to drop a 20V in any RWD: OK now the main part is the rear bypass plate: http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p143/daunderdweller/sq%20engineering/rearbyass01.jpg http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p143/daunderdweller/sq%20engineering/rearbyass04.jpg Sensors install...

Re: 7AGE

yes with the large/big port I have n/A because it has a 18mm gudgen pin so it's incompatiable. However the chamber size is the same between the two 16 Heads so you can just look up the small port head. The standard gasket is 1.2mm and it's not a good idea at all to use thicker and it messes up your ...

About SQ Engineering

Welcome everyone, my buisness is located in the S.E corner of Victoria, Australia. I mostly put my efforts into writing articles and helping people out in the forums but due to strong demand and a strong dislike for what was available a few years ago I started to make cooling parts. I have a very st...

Re: 16v water pump swap to 20v blacktop

now that's a unique idea. Apart from the easily fixed bypass issue as you mention it does look really good.
