I know it's sad BUT it went to a good home and very talented driver: Brandem Chiasorn a friend I met through Thaison a.k.a. @AznTKDmstr.
It's already back on the road and they're making plans to bring it in to Houston for tuning.

Re: 1620 with stock 16V ECU?
I'd recommend a factory thickness head gasket. With a smallport head I suggest at least running the smallport injectors & ecu w/ high octane (93). It wasn't so much of an issue for me as I was carb'd when it came to fueling and for timing I run programmable ignition - on 93. It ran like crud with an...

Re: 85 gts w/ 7mgte swap not charging battery
Idk we checked everything. Is it possible I need the fuse box from the 7mgte. The fusable links are different The 7MGTE has a different load requirement than that of the 4AG/C. It's electrical load demands are bigger and its alternator will be putting out what the 7MGTE needs which is more than wha...

Hopefully that shelf on the fender will be strong enough to keep from deforming.
Good deal on the shielded wire.
As far as the skirt - I empathize by museum pieces stay in glass cases and never feel a loving touch.
