you won't explode a diff... i have seen my buddy with a perfect 103.5whp 86 drift on his zenki welded rear end(i.e thinner axles) and did just fine and he drives it hard. me personally i slid on my 2 cylinder 4age with welded and did just fine. check out the tags website and look for my white 86 sli...
