I have a silvertop block with oil pan and crank. It has been sitting for some years and has some rust. It will need machine work on both block and crank. Looking for $75. Have pics upon request.

It depends on how bad the rust is. If it is just a little surface rust you might be able to sand it off and paint it but if it is deep bubly rust you might have to replace the sheetmetal to fix it.

Zip ties rock. I use them to keep my lip straight after after bending the stock brackets.
