i own a 3sgte engine out of a 1st gen alltrac. it is a heavy engine though and probably harder to swap into the ae86 than the f22

it is my track car, i use it for time trials.
no power steering no a/c with t50 about 360lbs.
about 430lbs for the ls1 plus 85lbs from the m22 which is a 4-speed. that is 515 and that doesn't include clutch assembly and flywheel.

i don't mind, actually i am enjoying this. i am open to ideas at this point. i like the idea of the ls1, though, for road racing i am really concerned with the weight.

the audi engine is expensive, awd only and i am not a fan of v6 engines, also, don't really want to go turbo. same with the xr6 plus don't want to go though the hassle of parts availability. cobalt supercharged 205hp that is less than the na f20c! plus it is heavier and uses the h3 transmission ls1 ...

after some reading today i am pretty set on honda power. f20c and trans is about 70lbs heavier than a 4age with a t50 while the ls1 with a tko 500 is a little over 200lbs heavier, not to mention more expensive and troublesome to work on once installed. i am open to other ideas though Alan, if you ha...

it is the diypnp with the sequential injection board. you have to build some circuitry to make the stock tach work which i could never get right. an after market tach would definitely work though. i could do 700 which would include the wideband o2, 1nz cops, complete engine harness and the ecu. i wo...
