Re: you know you own an ae86 when....

When you check craigslist everyday, in 10 different cities, for another 86, despite the fact you have 2 already, and couldn't afford another one even if you found one.

Re: you know you own an ae86 when....

...when you get that stupid look from people after trying to explain how to close the door locked, and eventually just do it yourself. And then wonder why you even bothered, because everything in the car is completely useless except to about 25 people in the state.

My 1986 Sr5 - GTS - $2800

Yup. Sadly, I'm needing funds for college, and to help with some debt i've acquired. Wish I was in a position to sell this dirt cheap for a member, but I think the price is fair. Re: Tex's '86

Didn't have much to do today so I went junkin. Found some neat stuff....factory tape player, rear sway bar bracket ive been missing, and lid for the center console...with the cup holder! Also cleaned up the ole valve covers a bit, and took off the sr5 wheels and threw on gts. And here some new shots...

Re: Need: A/C Bracket w/Pulley

Thanks. Ya, I figured it was mr2, but san antonio is a long ways from me, but I'm sure I can find a few mr2's around here. Unless someone has one they don't need that is, I'd rather my money go to someone here than a junkyard.

Re: Need: A/C Bracket w/Pulley

Was the original pulley connected to the power steering bracket, or was it a seperate bracket? Heres a pick of my current setup , but there is one gap like either the power steering bracket was there, or something. Either way, I no longer have my power steering bracket. My compressor bracket is stil...

Need: A/C Bracket w/Pulley

Anyone happen to have an a/c bracket with the idler pulley connected to it? I think it comes off an mr2. I just installed my a/c back on my bluetop, but I'm not using power steering, and think I need this bracket to get it working right. If there's another way to do this, I'm all ears. http://i57.ph...

Re: Tex's '86

I prefer miatas with hard tops. Ya, I don't think I would've bought it otherwise. The cab is really quiet with it on, which is what I was really looking for. All the rides I've had in the last few years have been loud (truck, integra gsr, my 86, wrx). I like! :D congrats man Thanks, I'm pretty stok...
