Re: Carb'ing my 86, Fuel Setup?

Yeah, I'm a little skeptical, but we'll see what happens. I don't want to go to a fuel cell as much as possible as it'll push me out of class SP for my races.

Re: Can a AE86 be a good Daily?

I daily'd a 320,000km GTS Hatch that I bought for $450 for a year. All I did was all fluids and an e-fan. Sold it running to someone and for all I know she's still running out there somewhere. AE86's have to be some of the toughest cars I've ever had, hence I had to go back to one :) .

Re: Carb'ing my 86, Fuel Setup?

Apparently to overcome the pressure of the in tank, the return line of off the regulator must be of larger size than the inlet so that more fuel can be dispensed and thus lower the pressure from the inlet (assuming that's how this regulator works). I'm going to give it a shot and I'll get back to ev...

Re: Carb'ing my 86, Fuel Setup?

Hey all, I did some more research, and with some help, I found that I am going to run the Aeromotive Bypass Regulator found here: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/aei-13301/overview/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I can use my stock tank, and stock fuel pump, and run this regulator ...

Carb'ing my 86, Fuel Setup?

Hey Guys, So I've decided that I want to carb my 86 and am having trouble on fuel setups. I know what parts I want to run, but I'm more interested in how they got to work the external, electric fuel pump (Such as the Holley Red Fuel Pump that I'll be running) with their existing GTS fuel tank setups...

Re: Hello from Canada! (Vancouver, BC)

I am on DK! Have been since 2006. To be honest I joined 86Garage because the community seemed very tight-knit and refreshing so I thought I'd sign up. The fact that you guys originate from Texas sounds great, I hope you all don't mind me being around here :) .

I'm so glad it's someone like Taka that is keeping the AE86 in FD.

Hello from Canada! (Vancouver, BC)

Hey guys, Just found 86garage and noticed all the great information and the community involved here, thought I'd join and say hello! Got an 86 Hatch w/ Smallport and mostly suspension/braking modifications. Goals: Make it a fun car that I can take to the local Knox Hillclimb and track days/time atta...
